
The case and top were done for a gentleman in New Orleans. It involved removing the old Tolex and installing new tweed Tolex on the bottom of the case. The top was painted Royal Red with metalflake added to the paint. It was then top coated with several coats of clear coat. Then all the hardware was replaced with new hardware. A great deal of effort is spent ensuring seams are straight and corners are cut clean. In addition, extreme care is spent ensuring the Tolex is installed so that patterns match up at the seams.

Look at the fire in these cheek blocks! This is the result of sanding the blocks smooth, using a plastic spray primer, then several coats of base paint and metal flake, and finishing it off with several coats of clear coat.
