The client called and was downsizing. She needed to sell her 1915 Steinway and Sons Model M grand piano. After a thorough examination the piano needed some adjustment of the dampers, a tuning, a really good cleaning and touch up of the many scratches on the exterior of the case.
In addition, the piano needed a tuning, adjusting of the dampers, adjusting of the damper pedal, other minor action adj

The exterior of the case was rather scratched up. The previous owner had someone do some extensive touch up to the case rim. The case rim does not match the top. But the color match is good if the scratches can be mitigated. The exterior had scratches and scrapes all over.

The case has been touched up to hide the scratches. The match is so good that the scratches seem to disappear!

Here is a picture the piano from the front after polishing the case. The finish looks very good for a piano that was made in 1915! The keys were cleaned to get all of the skin oils and dirt off the keys. The keys are in good shape considering their age.

Notice how clean the harp and the dampers are now. It looks like a new piano.

Here is the plate fully cleaned. The strings have been cleaned of dust, oxidation and even insects!
